Colonial Cup 

----------  2011 - 12 Colonial League Cup  ----------

                 The Colonial League will award " The Overall Colonial  Cup" to the school that has earned the most points,  for their 10 highest scoring sports,  during the designated school year. Starting in 2005 - 06, the Colonial League will also award a " Colonial Cup - Male Division " ( for their top 7 sports)  and a " Colonial Cup - Female Division " ( for their top 6 sports ). These points are based upon the teams placement in the regular season league standings and are awarded in the following manner: for example , in a ten team sport, the first place team earns 10 points, the second place team 9 points , the third place team 8 points......and the tenth place team 1 point. Teams that are tied for a position(s) in the standings would evenly divide the points possible for their corresponding places. In sports where  divisional playoffs are held, ( like baseball, basketball, field hockey, softball, soccer, tennis and golf ), the playoff tournament champion and runner up will automatically receive the top two point values. The remainder of the teams will be listed in their rank order based upon their regular season league play records.
